The Blade Nano QX is one of the tiniest and cutest quadcopters available on the market, and one enthusiasts should have on their minds.

A. Blade Nano QX: best features

One of the most minute quadcopters in the world, the Nano QX has features that make it one of the most exciting ones as well.

1. SAFE Technology

SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology makes this little quadcopter aware of its altitude. It also allows the Nano QX3 to fly at a steady, safe angle and land smoothly.
This technology also allows the quadcopter two flight modes. The Stability Mode enables steady flight while the agility mode lets the quadcopter do fancy, out-of-this world acrobatics.

2. Bind and Fly

Blade Nano QX BNF flyingA boon of this craft is the BNF (Bind and Fly) feature. While some quadcopters cannot fly while charging, this sturdy drone can do so. Users only need to bind the drone to a 6+ channel DSM2 computer transmitter. The Nano QX will fly in the time it takes to charge. To add, pilots can bind all the BNF aircraft they own to the same DSM2 transmitter and hence, use the same signal. They do not need to spend unnecessary money on transmitters.

3. Resilient airframe and blade guards

The resilient air frame protects the Nano QX should it bump into obstacles. The blade guards defend its already hardy propellers.

4. Extra Rotor Blades

If those hardy propellers are not enough, the quadcopter comes with extra rotor blades that users can switch to any time they wear out.

5. 6 millimieter brushed careless motor

The quadcopter’s small, 6 millimetre (0.24 inch) brushed, careless motor gives the craft incredible power. It enables smooth, dynamic take-off and landing.

6. Compact USB Charger

The Nano QX comes with a reliable USB LiPO battery charger. A user can place his little quadcopter on his desk as it charges. This makes it a quaint little showpiece as well.

7. Green and yellow canopies

A boon of this little craft is its avant-garde design that guests will surely comment on. It comes with smartly designed, yellow and green canopies.

C. Pros

Nifty features and astounding specifications aside, this charming, spider-like drone has a set of extremely enticing pros.

1. Stability

A major draw, of course, is its stability. SAFE mode lets it fly steadily, without unnecessary fluctuations.

2. Novice or expert flying

To add, the craft is ideal for both novice and expert pilots. While the craft’s stability mode makes it easy for beginners to control, the agility mode allows the more experienced ones to show their skills to guests. Users can fly the craft around in a steady circle or do a few fancy flips and jumps.

3. Durable

Many people believe that the smaller the quadcopter is, the less durable it is. This is not true with the Nano QX3.

Users report that frame guards protect this little device’s dynamic engine and that propeller guards enable the rotor blades to last for a long time.

4. Easy set-up

There is no need to assemble this craft. It comes completely fixed, in a box.

5. Small, lightweight and portable

A great boon of the Nano QX is that it is absolutely minute. This means that young ones can fly it without issues.

6. Affordable

At under $100 on Amazon this quadcopter is great value for those looking for an efficient starter kit. The Nano QX will give them thorough flying practice before they move on to bigger drones.

7. Responsive controls

A user has remarked that the controls of the DSM2 transmitter that he uses has extremely touch sensitive, responsive controls. Efficient controls give pilots complete control of their craft.

8. Pleases children and adults

The Nano QX pleases both children and adults. Young children will find that it enables absolutely thrilling flight.

9. User-friendly

With no need to put the craft together, it is extremely user-friendly. Binding this BNF to the computer takes no time at all. The DSM2 transmitter, with touch-sensitive controls, is easy to use as well.

10. Flies in confined spaces

If users want to entertain their colleagues during their lunch breaks, the Nano QX3 is there to help.

Small enough to fly in an office cubicle, the craft will draw much laughter with its spider-like, aerial acrobatics. It relaxes everyone on a long, tense day.

D. Cons

Like every product, the Nano QX3 has a few qualities that potential users must think about.

1. Transmitter

One of these is that with BNF versions, Blade sells the DSM2 transmitter separately. Users can use one that they already have, or get a new one from Blade.
It is good to note that the DSM2 transmitter they have to buy is more dynamic and gives better control that the one that comes with the Ready to Fly (RTF) version.

2. Outdoor Flight

This craft is more suitable for indoor flight. Having said that, there is no problem flying it outdoors if the wind is not too strong.

3. No camera

The BNF version of the Nano QX3 does not come with a camera. While other drones have integrated FPV (First Person View ) cameras that allow users to view their drones’ flight as if they are there in the cockpit, this drone is simply meant to thrill flying enthusiasts. It gives them a rush to see these spider-like devices in the air, even if they are not able to capture images.
